Margaret Wise Brown (1910–1952) was a famous American children's book author. She wrote beloved classics like [Goodnight Moon] and [The Runaway Bunny]. She changed children's books by writing about the everyday world of small kids instead of fairy tales.

Clement Hurd (January 12, 1908 – February 5, 1988) was an American artist and illustrator. He is best remembered for his iconic illustrations in classic children's books written by Margaret Wise Brown, including Goodnight Moon (1947) and The Runaway Bunny (1942).
