Rick Jay

Ricky Jay was a renowned American magician, actor, and writer, celebrated for his sleight of hand and mastery of card tricks. He was also a historian of magic and unusual performers, with his work appearing in several films and television shows. Born Richard Jay Potash in Brooklyn, New York, he was introduced to magic at a young age by his grandfather. He gained recognition for his astonishing feats, including card throwing and complex mental calculations, and his one-man shows, such as "Ricky Jay and His 52 Assistants," were critically acclaimed.
