The Standard Edition of Pull Me Apart is an 8″ x 10″ hardcover book with eighteen pages of interactive artwork. The book is a combination of die and laser cutting on heavy weight uncoated paper. Of the nine double page spreads in the book, three of them span both pages on their spreads, while the rest are their own individual pieces of movable art.

Heather Clements is a professional artist and instructor from Northern Virginia, now based in Asheville, NC, known for her interactive paper art, murals, and traditional paintings that explore themes of nature, mental health, and the human connection to the environment. Her art combines realistic portraiture with expressive abstraction and incorporates playful interactive elements like pull-tabs and spin wheels. After graduating from the Maryland Institute College of Art, she owned and operated Gallery Above in Florida and has since had her work exhibited nationwide, including her popular nature-inspired interactive sketchbook, "Pull Me Apart," published by Poposition Press.
