Sandsara is a remarkable device that uses advanced technology to create a primally satisfying experience. A metal ball mysteriously rolls through a bed of fine sand, tracing intricate geometric patterns that are pleasing to the eye and calming for the mind. The simple form of the compact birch frame serves to accentuate the designs created within while cleverly concealing the programmable articulated arm that draws the ball bearing through the sand using hidden magnets.
An accompanying mobile app allows you to choose from over 100 patterns or create designs of your own. You can even set playlists to feature your favorites. Sandsara also features customizable RGB lighting below the sand bed. The illumination adds an entirely new dimension and contrast to an already captivating kinetic sculpture.
