Imagine parallel parking four 18-wheelers in an ice hockey rink and you'll start to get an idea of the difficulty presented by this innocent-looking sliding puzzle. Start by placing the four rectangular pieces flat in the tray with the odd-colored piece farthest from the exit hole. The goal is to slide and spin the pieces out of the way to extract the odd piece from the frame. You'll quickly appreciate why this puzzle is called Rectangular Jam. Though the task might seem impossible, a bit of fiddling will be rewarded with the discovery of a solution that feels just as impressive as the most daring stunt driving.
