Quixo

Quixo is a turbocharged tic-tac-toe style strategy game. The pieces are hefty wooden cubes that flip and slide within the circular board. Players take turns moving the cubes until one team creates a line of five in a row.

All of the 25 cubes bear an X on one side and an O on the other. Removing a cube from the outer ring creates a space that allows the rest of that row or column to slide across the board. In this way, the arrangement of Xs and Os shifts up, down, left and right—the pieces are not locked in place which creates highly dynamic gameplay and requires nimble thinking to master. Quixo can be played one-on-one or with teams of two for a more collaborative experience.
