The O Cube is an intriguing example of seemingly impossible woodworking. It features a sphere encaged in a cube that is too small to allow the solid wooden ball to fit inside. Upon close examination, you can see there is simply NO WAY to put the sphere inside the cube. The truth is, the sphere was never "put" in the cube at all. Instead, it was carved from the inside of the same block of wood. Upon completion, the O Cube is two separate pieces and the sphere rotates freely within the cage. A mysterious display piece for your desk or table.
