This fantastic puzzle was inspired by the vertiginous capital of Gondor from Peter Jackson's spectacular Lord of the Rings films. The challenge is not only to fit the notched elm pieces into the frame to recreate Tolkien's mythical city but also to arrange the interior channels within the pieces to create a navigable maze through the model once it is assembled!
If the puzzle is completed successfully, you will be able to place the included ball bearing into a hole near the top and then tilt the assembly back and forth until the ball finds its way through the winding path, down the stairs and out the exterior door. This puzzle is extremely difficult but if you do manage to solve it, you'll be left with a display piece worthy of only the greatest wizards in middle earth.
