Overview
Infinite Galaxy Puzzle 2
The Infinity Puzzle™ is a mind-bending new type of jigsaw that has no fixed shape, no starting point, and no edges. All the pieces are double-sided and can be assembled in thousands of different ways!
Galaxy 2 features a photograph of Westerlund 2 from the Hubble telescope displayed on 236 laser-cut birch plywood pieces, including three special whimsy pieces (an astronaut, a space shuttle, and the international space station).
Topologically, the Infinite Galaxy Puzzle 2 maps to an impossible 3D shape where the inside and outside are mathematically indistinguishable... What that means is that pieces from one side can attach to the other but only after flipping over. Just like a Mobius strip has only one surface, the puzzle has no up or downside. You can start the puzzle with any piece, in any orientation, which makes the whole thing extra difficult. An excellent gift for jigsaw enthusiasts looking for a unique challenge.
