Cancel your plans and get comfortable—you might not be going anywhere for a while... Art of Play is proud to present the best and most difficult puzzle lock in the world. "Dan" (named after Israeli designer/craftsman Dan Feldman) will challenge even the most diabolical minds. Picking the lock is only the first step. The real goal is to get the puzzle back how you found it, with the padlock closed and the key trapped on the latch.
As you can see from the photos, the Dan lock is a striking impossible object. It looks great on display. What you can't see in the photos is the wickedly clever and deeply satisfying solution to this puzzle. We're fond of saying, "Epiphanies await the curious mind." Well, with a multi-layered puzzle like this, several epiphanies await and if you do manage to discover the solution, we promise you'll be rewarded with a deep sense of satisfaction. Not to mention a begrudging admiration for the mastermind who created this renowned mechanical marvel.
